Veanna Elizabeth Eberline, age 100 years 10 months 10 days Of Blue Earth, died Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at St. Luke’s Lutheran Care Center, Blue Earth. Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at Patton Funeral Home, Blue Earth with Rev. Joel DeNeui officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Blue Earth. Visitation will be one hour prior to service. Veanna was born on July 13, 1917, in Springfield, Ohio, the oldest of four daughters born to Willis David and Lenah Athleen Stoner. She graduated from Springfield High School in 1936. Veanna attended Columbus School of Fine Arts and Columbus Business School in Ohio. She married her husband Victor E. Eberline in Covington, Kentucky on September 15, 1939. They made their home on a farm northeast of Blue Earth. Veanna enjoyed the farm and gardening and in later years took up her talent of painting and writing poetry again. Veanna is survived by her five children, Sharon (Allan) Krieger of Blue Earth, Marlene Rapinac of New Hope, Willis (Carol) Eberline of Blue Earth, Jean (William) Willmert of St. Michael, and Edward (Kathy) Eberline of Houlton, WI; 12 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, and several great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews in Ohio and Indiana. Veanna is preceded in death by her husband Victor; son-in-law, John Rapinac; her parents; three sisters; and a half-brother. Memorials preferred to St Luke’s Lutheran Care Center and Nicollet Place of Blue Earth.
