Steven H. Franke

Steven H. Franke, age 63, of Blue Earth, passed away at the United Hospital District in Blue Earth on Sunday, August 25, 2019.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 31, 2019 at 11am at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Blue Earth. Visitation will be on Friday from 5-7pm at Patton Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service at church. Burial will take place at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery in Emerald Township. Steven was born on November 22, 1955 in Blue Earth to Harland and Irma (Ehrich) Franke. He spent his lifetime farming the family farm with his brother Gary. Steve enjoyed hunting, traveling, and spending time with friends. He was a fun-loving free spirit who had a one liner for everything.

Steve is survived by his mother, Irma; son, Caleb (Ayrica) Franke of Frost; daughter, Chelsey (Andy) Larsen of Fairmont; brother, Gary Franke of Blue Earth; sisters, Linda (David) Field of Walters, Sandy (Steve) Sonnicksen of Blue Earth, and Sheryl (Steve) Martin of Las Vegas, NV; one granddaughter, Sadie Franke; two step-grandchildren, Rylyn and Rhys Larsen, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father Harland.
