Born in Mankato on March 29, 1951, to Milton “Woody” and Lois (Potter) Woodall, Linda's life was a testament to strength, love, and laughter. Overcoming early challenges, Linda battled polio at a tender age but emerged victorious with unwavering determination and then was later diagnosed with diabetes. Her pursuit of education led her RN degree from Hamlin College in 1972. Linda's career as a Registered Nurse saw her touch countless lives at various healthcare facilities like Planned Parenthood, Parker Oaks, and Oak Terrace, where her care and kindness left a lasting impact.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Linda found joy in life's simple pleasures. Whether cruising the open seas or basking in the sun on sandy shores, she embraced every adventure with a smile. A devoted mother and grandmother, Linda always prioritized family, cheering on her children and grandchildren at their sporting and school events and sharing in their triumphs. Family was everything to her.

Linda's love for sports, particularly the Minnesota Vikings and Twins, showcased her spirited nature and competitive edge. She and Ed would occasionally take in a local baseball game or concert and also enjoyed socializing at happy hour. Her infectious laughter and selfless demeanor endeared her to all who crossed her path, leaving a legacy of warmth and humor in her wake.

Left to cherish such wonderful memories is Linda’s significant other and partner for the last 15 years, Ed Jones of Mankato, her children; Blaine (Angie) Anderson of Lakeville and Becca Anderson of Manly, IA, her grandchildren; Jace, Michael and Lincoln Anderson, Ethan and Colin Schneider, brother Larry (Pam) Woodall, sister Nancy (Mike) Watkins, nephew Dan (Kayla) Woodall, nieces Kristi (Tyler) Thornburg, Jeni (Adam) Klein and Jill (Dave) Meliah and their families, , and her very dear friend Jacque Rieffer as well as many other extended family members and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to Pathstone Nursing Home in Mankato or Mayo Hospice in Mankato would be greatly appreciated.
