Keith Cooper, 56 of Winnebago died Wednesday June 19, 2019 at his home. A celebration of life will be at 11am Tuesday June 25th at the Community Covenant Church in Huntley with Rev. Michael Baker officiating. Visitation will be one hour before the service at the church.
Those who got to know Keith found a quality in the man that was steadfast, honest and true. Keith was a man who respected others, who dealt honestly and fairly with everyone he met, and whose stories captivated, whose smile and laughter drew you in. He was a gentle man and yet someone that you could count on to have your back, and he is and will be deeply missed.
In his passing left behind gathered are those who knew and loved him.
Rest in peace husband, how loved you are!
Keith had a great love for motorcycles, he enjoyed riding whenever and wherever he could. He liked to fish and did a little hunting in his day and he thoroughly enjoyed doing his wood burning projects.
He liked to gardened, loved going for walks, hiking, and being outdoors in general and he could never get his fill of southern rock.
Keith was born in Leesburg, VA to Charles and Katherine Cooper and growing up he did many odd jobs until settling into the construction industry. In 1997 having moved to Minnesota, Keith began working in the ethanol industry and would continue in that for nearly 21 years.
Keith was a wonderful and loving husband, he was a great father, and an awesome brother to Jeannie, Kathy, Kenny and David, all of whom showered him with love and praise as they were so proud of who he had become.
Keith’s love for his family ran deeply and he was everything a husband and a father should be: loving, caring, faithful, always providing in every way for his loved ones. He was courageous, loyal and in these past years found himself seeking to know the Lord of heaven and earth.
Through the good times and the hard times Keith was both richly blessed and a blessing to others.
May he now be at home standing in the presence of his Lord.
My love, this is not goodbye; but we will see you later.
We love you and always will with the fondest of memories. Love Mom and Luke
Keith is survived by his wife; Ronda, his son; Lucas, his siblings Jeannie, Kathy, and Kenny.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Charles and Katherine, brother; David and nephew Dillion.
