Katherine Kristine Campina

Katherine “Kathy” Kristine Campina, age 71 of Sauk Rapids, died on Thursday, July 7, 2022 at St. Cloud Hospital.

Funeral service will be held at Patton Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 12, 2022 at 1pm. Burial will take place at North Blue Earth Lutheran Cemetery.

Kathy was born on June 25, 1951 in Wells, to Harry and Marian (Steinhauer) Borglum. She attended and graduated from Bricelyn High School. Kathy then went on to attend several classes at Bethany College. On November 11, 1976, Kathy married Arturo R. Campina in Sauk Rapids.

Kathy enjoyed all sorts of arts and crafts. She also like to crochet and knit. Kathy was fiercely independent. She loved all animals, but especially her pets. Her fur family held a special place in her heart.

Katherine is survived by her siblings, Mark (Carol) Borglum of St. Paul, Colleen (Paul) Knudtson of Blue Earth, Kellen (Karen) of Bricelyn, and Rebecca (Steve) Glimsdal of Frost; nieces and nephews, Lindsay Reistad and Dustin Borglum, Haley Knudtson and Hanna Beck, Amy Stenzel, Dana Sickler, and Michael Borglum and Patrick and Nathan Glimsdal; and several great nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; and her aunts & uncles.
