Karen Wiese

Karen Wiese, age 76 of Blue Earth passed away Thursday July 27, 2023 at her home. Funeral services will be at 2pm Wednesday August 2 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Blue Earth, visitation will be at 1pm. Burial will be at Riverview Cemetery in Elmore.

Karen was born February 4, 1947 to Elmer and Bessie (Makis) Wiese at their home in Elmore. She was the only girl of 6 children. She stayed in their home until her mother passed away, shortly after she moved to the ELM home where she lived for the last 30 years.

She enjoyed listening to music, scrapbooking, and decorating, going on walks and watching TV. Karen was a very social person and enjoyed her time working at STEP and volunteering at St. Luke’s.

She is survived by her brother Raymer Wiese of Llano, TX as well as other extended family and close friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her brothers Roger, Lowell, Arno and Eldean.
