Junior "Don" Herman Tesch

Junior "Don" Tesch, age 94, of Blue Earth, passed away on Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at St. Luke's Lutheran Care Center. Private family burial with military honors will take place at Riverside Cemetery in Blue Earth at a later date. 

Don was born on March 20, 1926 in Clinton, to Herman and Eva (Arndt) Tesch. He attended Blue Earth High School. Don then enlisted in the United States Navy. He served in the military for 20 years. Don then worked as a foreman for Westinghouse for 24 1/2 years. On August 4, 1992, he married Leona K. (Anderson) Erich in Tahoe, Nevada.

Don enjoyed traveling all over the world, especially by cruise ships. He also enjoyed his daily trips to the Senior Citizen Center. Don's favorite hobby of all was working on clocks. 

Don is survived by his son, Thomas (Teresa) Tesch of Arizona; brothers, Kenneth of Richland, Washington and Dennis Tesch of Blue Earth; sister, Kathryn (Dale) Tourtellott of Gaylord; granddaughter, Katherine Tesch; great-granddaughter, Miram; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Leona; granddaughter, Hannah; and two brothers, Dean and Darold.
