Joyce Bishop

Joyce Bishop, age 83 of Blue Earth and formerly of Jensen Beach, FL passed away Sunday October 9, 2022 at St. Luke’s Care Center. A graveside service will be held at 11AM Friday October 14 at Riverside Cemetery in Blue Earth with Rev. Russ Jacobsen officiating.

Joyce was born August 27, 1939 in Minneapolis to Joseph and Thelka (Frakie) Folven. On October 12, 1963 she married Richard Arthur Bishop in Roanoke, VA. They then moved to Dayton, OH where they lived for several years before moving to Jensen Beach, FL. She enjoyed shopping, spending time with family and was an active member of Redeemer Lutheran Church.

She is survived by her niece Brenda (Verlyn) Ripley of Blue Earth and 13 nieces and nephews.

Joyce is preceded in death by her parents, husband Richard and brothers, Raymond, Kenneth, Floyd and Donald Folven.
