Harriet Amelia Ehrich

Harriet Amelia Ehrich, age 96, of Blue Earth, died Wednesday, July 5, 2017, at St. Lukes Lutheran Care Center. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 8, 2017, at 11:00 AM, at Hope United Methodist Church in Blue Earth, with Rev. Russ Jacobsen officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Blue Earth. Visitation time will be one hour before the service at the church. Web tributes may be left at www.pattonfh.com Harriet was born December 29, 1920, in Verona Township, MN, the daughter of Irwin and Amelia (King) Gartzke. She graduated from Blue Earth High School in 1939. On June 29, 1940 she married Alvin Ehrich in Blue Earth. Harriet is survived by her daughter, Joyce (Marvin) Sladek of Le Center, daughter, Karen Osberg of Elmore, daughter, Audrey (Donald) Bleess of Blue Earth, son, Barry (Deb) Ehrich of Blue Earth, daughter, Kristy ( Jody Larson) Johnson of Alden , 10 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren , 2 great great grandchildren and 3 step grandchildren. Harriet is preceded in death by her husband, Alvin, brothers, Harold, Roland, Floyd, Vernon, sisters, Opal, Fran, and grandson, Paul Ehrich. Mom and Dad are doing the last dance for the rest of their lives with the Six Fat Dutchman together forever! Memorials have been established in Harriet’s name.
