Glen Arlo Krosch, age 77, of Blue Earth formerly of Elmore, died Tuesday, June 19, 2018, at his home. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, June 23, 2018, at 2:00 PM, at Patton Funeral Home in Blue Earth, with Rev. Joel Lintner officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Blue Earth, Minnesota. Visitation time will be one hour before the service at Patton Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 400 E. 14th Street in Blue Earth. Web tributes may be left at www.pattonfh.com He was born August 1, 1940, in Elmore Township, MN, the son of Marion and Sylvia (Sailor) Krosch. He graduated from Elmore High School in 1958. Soon after high school, Glen worked for McFarland Elevator Construction, which was owned by his uncle. Later, Glen had his own company for awhile and then worked for Frank Brothers, in Blue Earth and Farmer’s Elevator Co. One of Glen’s hobbies was collecting antique items. He has donated many items, to the Faribault County Historical Society and they are displayed in the antique shed at the Fairgrounds, in Blue Earth. He was also very active in AA. For many years he belonged to the Sertoma Club and worked on tricycles. He rebuilt them for handicapped kids. Glen is survived by his children David (Connie) Krosch of SD, Lori (Rod) Clark of Greely, CO, siblings, Gwen (Bev) Krosch of Elmore, Bruce (Julie) Krosch of Blue Earth, LaVonne Swearingen of Kiester, Janet (Donald) Richter of Onamia, Joanne Fiser of Crystal, Kathi (Bob Gaffney) Krosch of Crystal, Loree (Dean) Vereide of Blue Earth, and seven grandchildren Glen was preceded in death by his parents, 7 brothers, Marvin, Paul, Phillip, Bryce, Brad, Merle, and Beryl Krosch, and sister Darla Schaefer.
