Fern Teigland

Fern Teigland, age 68 of Blue Earth passed away peacefully at her home October 26, 2021. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date. Fern Marie was born in Duluth, MN to David and Anne (Smith) Ankarlo on November 27, 1952. On August 18, 1971 she married the love of her life, Marlon Teigland. They recently celebrated their 50th anniversary. Together they have three children, Angela, Tony and Jerry. The outdoors, camping, animals, trees and gardening were just some of the things Fern enjoyed but her biggest love was her husband, kids and grandkids and many nieces and nephews. Fern will be missed dearly by her husband Marlon, children Angela (Dave) Jennisch, Tony (Katie Malliet) Teigland and Jerry (Kelly Stade) Teigland, grandchildren Alix Jolin, Paige Jolin, Kayli Teigland, Justin Teigland and Jace Teigland as well as many other family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers Ray, Jerry and Larry, her sisters Janet and Geraldine and many dog companions. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you plant a tree in memory of Fern.
