Fern Edna Campbell

Fern Edna Campbell, age 92, of Blue Earth, died Sunday, May 20, 2018, at The Lodge at Deadwood, SD. Visitation time will be from 5:00pm-7:00pm Thursday, May 24, 2018, at Patton Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 400 E. 14th Street in Blue Earth, and one hour prior to the service at the church. Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 25, 2018, at 11:00 AM, at Hope United Methodist Church in Blue Earth, with Rev. Russ Jacobsen officiating.  Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Blue Earth, Minnesota.  Web tributes may be left at www.pattonfh.com Fern was born May 6, 1926, at Barber Township, MN, the daughter of Albert and Cecil (Halvorson) Egeness. She graduated from Frost High School in 1944. She was married to Eldon D. Campbell on October 13, 1945 in Frost. Fern was an active member with the First United Methodist Church Circle for many years and was also active with the American Legion Auxiliary. Fern is survived by her sons, Bradley (Bernita) Campbell of Wheatland, WY, Scott (Mickie) Campbell of Blue Earth, Jeffrey (Vickie) Campbell of Blue Earth, Terry (Melissa) Campbell of Blue Earth, former daughter in law, Linda Meyn of Tampa, FL, 13 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren. Fern was preceded in death by her husband, parents, sister Arlene Egeness, and brother Arden Egeness. Memorials can be made in Fern’s name to the Faribault County Humane Society or Hope United Methodist Church.
