Evelyne Mae Bell, 95, passed away on Friday, April 4, 2025 at Blue Earth United Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Evelyne was born on January 30, 1930 in Huntley, Minnesota to Owen and Ruth (Hall) Swant. She attended and graduated from Blue Earth Public Schools. Evelyne married Homer Bell on June 8, 1949 and they were together for 67 years. They farmed the family farm where they raised their four children. Evelyne was an excellent cook and baker and always enjoyed entertaining family and friends at the farm. She was an avid reader and loved picking out books to read at the public library. When her children were grown and gone, she worked at the local Super 8 Motel and later at Walmart. Evelyne always enjoyed and loved all of her pet dogs and cats that brought her much happiness over the years. Evelyne was preceded in death by her parents, husband; Homer, sisters; Betty Swant and Eileen Burrows, brother; Elvin, and an infant sister. She is survived by her children: Kathleen (Marvin) Wibben, Janet McCanna, Joanne (Tom) Clough, and Wes Bell, grandchildren: Lee (Roxanne) Wibben, Joseph (Tiffany) McCanna, Katelyn (Reed) Wiggen, Anthony Clough, and Wilson Bell, great grandchildren: Landon, Lillianna, and Liam McCanna, and Kieran Wiggen, sister Ellen Matteson, sister-in-law Miryam Swant, brother-in-law Marvin Burrows, and many other relatives and friends.
