ELAINE HARRIET WIEDERHOLT, age 94, of Blue Earth, died Friday, July 21, 2017, at St. Lukes Lutheran Care Center. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 26, 2017, at 2:00 PM, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Blue Earth, with Rev. Jeanette J. Bidne officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Blue Earth. Visitation time will be 1 hour before the service at the church. On September 10, 1939 in Algona, IA she married Theodore “Ted” “T.C.” Wiederholt. They spent 50 wonderful years together. They made their home in Blue Earth where they built their business while raising 9 children.Elaine enjoyed being with family and friends. One of her most joyous moments was welcoming a new child into the family. She was a kind, loving person, her personality and sense of humor would lite up a room.Elaine was baptized and confirmed at Trinity Lutheran Church. She was well know for helping make potato salad for the Trinity stand at the Faribault County Fair. She left behind countless memories for us to cherish, she will be greatly missed. She is survived by her children, LaFaye Weise of Blue Earth, Mark (Terri) Wiederholt of Winsted, Marie (Marvin) Johnston of Fairmont, Danette Enger of Mankato, Gail (Bruce) Gudahl of Blue Earth, Sheryl (Tom) Moench of Lakeville, Debra (William) Hansen of Rosemount, brother, Jerry (Evelyn) Henke of Blue Earth, son in law, Douglas Krinke of Elmore, daughter in law, Kathy Wiederholt of Huntley, 28 grandchildren, numerous great and great-greatgrandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, son Dale Wiederholt, daughter Susan Krinke, infant son Henry Wiederholt, granddaughters, Anna Weise, Kimberly Wiederholt, grandson, R.J, Wiederholt, great-grandson, Lance Steinhauer, brother, Jerome Hanke, sisters, Mildred Nesbit, Marilyn Meyering, Alice Mae Ertman, parents, and son-in-law John Enger.
