Donna Loge

Donna Loge, age 88 of Blue Earth passed away Tuesday December 27, 2022 at St. Luke's Care Center. A funeral service will be held at 11AM Friday December 30 at Shiloh Lutheran Church in Elmore with Rev. Robert Roettger officiating. Visitation will be from 9:30-11AM at the church. Burial will be at Riverview Cemetery in Elmore. Online condolences can be left and a livestream of the service can be viewed at www.pattonfh.com

Donna Jean was born March 11, 1934 to Erwin and Eva (Fischer) Heidenwith in Swea City, Ia. She was baptized, confirmed and graduated in Swea City. On December 16, 1951 she married Derald Loge. Together they raised 3 children and made a great team farming for over 60 years in the Pilot Grove area.

Donna owned Donna's Greenhouse for many years in the spring and took great pride in selling beautiful flowers. She also worked at Dikken's and loved creating beautiful floral arrangements.

Donna was a very active member of Shiloh Lutheran Church and served in many capacities. She especially loved crafting for their annual bazaars. She also served as a 4-H leader for many years. She and Derald enjoyed their annual fishing trips to Six Mile Lake.

She loved being a Mother and Grandmother and took great pride in her family.

Left to cherish her memory are her children; Ardeen (Doug) Bleess of St. Michael, Kent (Cathy) Loge of Kasson, Ronald (Julie) Loge of Blue Earth; her grandchildren Darrin Bleess, Ryan Bleess, Kevin Loge, Jessica Holland, Nicole Loge and Brett Loge and 13 great grandchildren; her sister Elaine Deim, brother Chuck Heidenwith and brother-in-law Harold Weise.

She is proceeded in death by her parents, her husband Derald, and sisters Eleanor Corbett and Emily Heidenwith.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Luke's Care Center (Moonlight Lane) or Shiloh Lutheran Church would be appreciated.
