Donna Bea Bauman, age 91, of Blue Earth, died Friday September 27, 2019 at Parker Oaks in Winnebago. Memorial services will be held at 11am on Saturday October 12, 2019 at Hope United Methodist Church in Blue Earth, with Pastor Russ Jacobsen officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church.
Donna Bea was born September 11, 1928 in Huntley, Minnesota, the daughter of James and Berniece (Craven) Bales. She was married to Ervin “Barney” Bauman at the Huntley Baptist Church on September 16, 1950. They lived on the family farm east of Blue Earth for many, many years. Donna attended school in Huntley and St. Cloud, Minnesota, and was a member of Hope United Methodist Church.
Donna Bea is survived by her two daughters: Julie (Bob) Goodrie of Citrus Springs, Florida, and Karla (Bruce) Brenckman of Maple Grove, Minnesota; granddaughter Katie (Ryan) Hughes of Duluth, Minnesota, grandson Nick (Ari) Brenckman of Minneapolis, Minnesota, and grandson Alex Brenckman of Bloomington, Minnesota; great-grandchildren Mason Hughes and Berit Hughes, as well as Nick’s soon-to-be born baby son; her sister-in-law Marge (Robert) Hill, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband Ervin, her son Kurt, and her parents.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Donna’s name to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society would be appreciated.
