Darlene Sorenson

Darlene L Sorenson,93, of Amboy, passed away February 16, 2024 at Sister Care in Blue Earth Minnesota.

Darlene was born November 22, 1930, to Herbert and Edna (Wendt) Dalluge. She was raised in Sterling Township until the age of 15, when she moved to Good Thunder and graduated from Good Thunder. She was baptized, confirmed and married at St Johns Church in Good Thunder. Darlene married Clare Sorenson August 21, 1950.

She had a variety of jobs in her lifetime, Telex was one. Her most rewarding was starting senior citizen centers in many towns and organizing tours for them. Her retirement job was working at the school in Amboy with Clare's help.

Darlene is survived by three children, Radley (Donna) Sorenson, Amboy, Ronda (Bruce) Hanke, Blue Earth and Randy (Lyn) Sorenson Amboy. Seven grandchildren and many great grandchildren.

She is proceeded in death by her parents and husband.

Funeral arrangements are being planned for a later date.
