It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Darlene Rae Pilcher, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Darlene's journey began on June 16, 1927, and sadly reached its end on June 15, 2024, just one day shy of her 97th birthday.

Funeral services for Darlene will be held at 11AM Tuesday June 25 at Faith Lutheran Brethren Church with Rev. Brent Walker officiating. Burial will take place at the East Chain Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour before the service at the church. Online condolences can be left and a livestream of the service can be viewed at www.pattonfh.com

Darlene was born to Raymond and Gladys (Peterson) Hall in Poplar, WI. She graduated from East Chain in 1945 and on December 28, 1945 she married her soulmate, Duane Marc Pilcher. They made their home in East Chain until moving to Blue Earth in 1967. A respected member of the Blue Earth community, Darlene made her mark through her work at Aero-Space, the Etta C. Ross Library, Blue Earth State Bank, and AAL/Thrivent Insurance. She dedicated herself to her roles, leaving a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Throughout her life, Darlene exemplified compassion and kindness, always extending a helping hand to those in need. She dedicated herself to nurturing her family and those around her, leaving a legacy of love and care that will endure for generations to come.

Darlene leaves behind a cherished family, including her devoted children: Pamela (Frank) Lawatsch, Virgil (Sue) Pilcher, Steven (Janine) Pilcher, and Marc (Diane) Pilcher.
