Charlene Marie Nicholson

Charlene M. Nicholson (Robb), age 69 of Blue Earth, passed away on Saturday, December 2, 2023 at Mayo Clinic Health Systems, St. Mary’s Campus, in Rochester, Minnesota. A celebration of Charlene’s life will be held at Patton Funeral Home in Blue Earth from 2-5pm on Friday, December 15, 2023. Guests are invited to come and go as they please. Charlene Marie was born on September 14, 1954 in Blue Earth to Gerald and Charlotte (Elmore) Robb. She attended and graduated from Blue Earth High School. On August 31, 1974, Charlene married Timothy Paul Nicholson in Blue Earth. Charlene attended some college and worked several jobs over the course of her lifetime, including Walmart and a daycare provider. The titles she was most proud of were wife, mother, and grandmother.

Charlene enjoyed all crafting, especially quilting and cross stitch. She also enjoyed tending to her garden, cooking, and completing puzzles. She loved any time spent with her family and grandchildren.

Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Nathan (Amber) Nicholson of North Mankato and Daniel Nicholson of Swea City; grandchildren, Maygan, Eleanor, and Isaiah; and brother, Randy Robb of Windom.

Charlene is preceded in death by her husband, Tim and her son, Shawn Nicholson. Charlene is also now reunited with her sister, Doris Thate of Fairmont, who passed away just four days after her.
