Ardys Frandle

Ardys Frandle, age 96, of Blue Earth MN, passed away at St. Luke's Care Center in Blue Earth, Minnesota, Tuesday, May 21, 2024. A memorial service will be held at 2PM, Friday, May 31, 2024; at Zion Lutheran Church in Rake, IA. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service on Friday. A private burial will follow the service at United Lutheran Cemetery in Frost, Minnesota. 

Ardys (Skaden) Frandle, daughter of Oscar and Hilda (Wester) Skaden, was born January 21, 1928 in Faribault County. Minnesota. She was baptized and confirmed at Bethany Church, Frost, MN. She graduated from Frost High School in 1945. Ardys attended Mankato Commercial College and Gustavus College. She worked at E.F. Johnson company in Waseca and Mankato Employment office.

In 1949 she married Gerald Frandle, together they farmed in the Rake and Frost area, until Gerald’s retirement. Ardys was a long-time member of Zion Lutheran Church in Rake, IA.

Ardys took much pride in her family, farm, and being a homemaker and caring for her garden and yard. She was a very independent, hardworking lady.

Ardys is survived by her son Steven (Barbara) Frandle. Three granddaughters; Beth (Mike) Frandle, Amy (Allen) Willeck, and Laura Frandle. Two great-grandsons; Gavin and Grady Willeck.

Ardys is preceded in death by her son, George Frandle (1989), husband, Gerald Frandle (2002), Sister; Delores Chilson (2014), and brother; Wesley Skaden (2016).
