Aaron Adam Nordaas, born on August 8, 1993 in Albert Lea, to Selmer and Lori (Johnson) Nordaas, a vivacious spirit who cherished every moment under the open sky, embraced his final adventure on June 22, 2024. Known for his unwavering love for the great outdoors, the thrill of fishing, golfing, hiking, camping, and engaging in extreme sports like dirt biking and snowboarding, Aaron was a true adventurer at heart with friends and family.
During his time as an electrician apprentice at Pro Ag Solutions for 6.5 years, Aaron showcased dedication and passion for his craft. In his free time, he delighted in collecting heart-shaped rocks and had a knack for selecting and presenting meaningful gifts to his loved ones, truly embodying the spirit of generosity. Aaron’s faithful companion, Chester, his beloved basset hound, was a constant source of joy and companionship in his life. You could always catch him with his ray-bans on and an Oakley shirt.
Left to cherish such fond memories are his parents, Selmer Nordaas of Bricelyn, Lori Nordaas (Kurt) of Bricelyn, brothers; Seth (Rebecca) and their children Jack and Mackenzie of Bricelyn, Jared (Danielle) and their children Colter and Wyatt of La Crescent, maternal grandmother, Phyllis Johnson of Blooming Prairie, special aunts and sponsors, Jackie Rathbun (mom 2) and Kristie Nordaas as well as aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and close friends.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, a great-grandmother and his beloved dog Chester.
A celebration of his life will be held at 2pm Monday July 1 at Bricelyn Lutheran Church with Rev. Peg Marose officiating. Visitation will be from 12-2PM at the church and a private family burial will take place at a later date. We pay homage to a life lived fully and with unbridled enthusiasm. Farewell, dear Aaron. Your spirit will forever wander the open fields and endless trails you loved so dearly, and your memory will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to have known you.
In lieu of flowers, please plant a tree either from www.pattonfh.com or locally in honor of Aaron and his love for nature.
