Sheryl Ann Kneeland

Sheryl Kneeland, age 70, of Elmore, MN, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, February 5, 2017. Private family services at a later time.Sheryl was born on December 11, 1946 in Winnebago, MN to Lloyd and Edythe Frye. She attended and graduated from Winnebago High School in 1964. That year she married Gene Gronseth. They divorced and then in 1972, Sheryl married Raymond Kneeland. They made their home in the Delavan area and then in their later years moved to Elmore, MN. Sheryl had many jobs over the course of her life, but in 1996 she graduated from Rasmussen College in Travel. She later became employed as a Domestic Auto Travel Counselor by AAA. Sheryl enjoyed Ray''s flower gardens and also traveling. She was an avid reader and was always making crafts and sewing projects. Sheryl loved playing horseshoes at the Kneeland family reunion and was an active member of the Friends of the Elmore Public Library and the Red Hat Ladies Society to which she organized a monthly card club with members all across the United States. Her greatest joys in life were her family.Sheryl is preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd and Edythe Frye; brothers, Stanley, Larry, Richard "Frog", David, and infant brother Willie.Sheryl is survived by her spouse of 44 years, Raymond; daughters, Janell (James) Sellers of Marshall, MN, Kimberly (Bobby) Stephens of Houston, Texas, and Lori (Nelson) Quigley of Raeford, North Carolina; grandchildren, Adam Dodd, Spencer Hulburt, Emily Hulburt, Kaylee Sawyer, Julianna Sawyer; great-grandchildren, Liala Jolstad; sisters, Kay Hanks of Burnsville, MN, Linda (Gary) Thate of Oro Valley, AZ; sisters-in-law, Coleen Frye, of Marshall, MN and Judy Frankamp of Blue Earth, MN.
