Dakota Robert Wood

Dakota (Cody) Wood, of Elmore, MN, began his new journey to be at peace on March 12th, 2017 at the age of 23.Cody was born on December 9th, 1993 in Minneapolis, MN. Growing up he was always a loving, friendly, fun, silly and adventurous kid. He was also a great son, brother and an amazing uncle. So if he was not spending time with his family, he was getting lost in one of his books or mastering a new video game. Because of values and need to help others he began working as a bounty hunter when he was 20 years old. He aced all of the necessary training, gained his permit to carry and assisted in the apprehension of many fugitives. He enjoyed it so much that he began the steps necessary to go back to school for Criminal Justice with the dream of one day becoming a US Marshal.Cody is survived by his mother, Carol Comstock; his sisters, Misty Casey and Brooklynn Comstock; his brother Jimmy Comstock Jr.; his niece Lillian (Lily); Uncles, Aunts and bazillion, gazillion cousins.He was preceded in death by his father, Jim Comstock; Uncle (Gorgon) Dennis Wood; Grandmother, Gloria Wood and Grandfather, Robert Wood.We will gather not to mourn but to celebrate him on April 15th 2017 at Patton Funeral Home in Blue Earth, MN from 12-2pm.
