Leona K. Tesch

Leona Karna Tesch, age 90, of Blue Earth, passed away on Sunday, June 11, 2017 at Truman Senior Living in Truman, MN. Leona was born on February 26, 1927 to Leonard and Christina Anderson in Frost, MN. In 1947, she married Kermit Ehrich in Albert Lea, MN. Leona and Kermit farmed in rural Blue Earth until they retired in 1982. Leona, during that time, also worked as a LPN at St. Lukes Lutheran Care Center for many years, was active in church activities and a Red Cross volunteer for 30 years. Kermit passed away in 1985 and on August 4, 1992, Leona married J.H. (Don) Tesch in in Lake Tahoe, NV. Leona is survived by her husband, Don of Blue Earth; two daughters, Cheryl Ehrich of New Prague, MN and Linda Crombie of Northfield, MN; three grandsons; one granddaughter; one great-grandson; and four great granddaughters. Leona is preceded in death by her husband, Kermit Ehrich; daughter, Sondra Nelson; and son-in-law, David Nelson.
