Berdeen E. Kerr, age 91 of Elmore died Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at St Lukes Lutheran Care Center in BlueEarth.Funeral service will be 10:30 am, Saturday, February 13, 2016, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Elmore, with Rev. Joel Lintner officiating, burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00pm-6:00pm Friday, February 12, 2016 at Patton Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 400 East 14th Street in Blue Earth, and one hour before the service at the church. She was united in marriage to Leonard Johnson in 1942, and he passed away in 1948. She later married Dustin Kerr in 1950, and he passed away in 1972.Berdeen was a secretary for the Elmore Nursery for 48 years. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her two grandchildren.Berdeen is survived by her son Gary (Terri) Johnson of Elmore, grandson, John Johnson of San Antonio, TX, granddaughter Jana Johnson of Baraboo, Wi, and great-granddaughter Payton Johnson, brother, Ed (Myrna) Pirsig of Blue Earth, sister-in-law, Mary Pirsig of Onalaska, WI, and many nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands, and twin brothers, Wayne and Wes Pirsig.
