Carrol L. Flo

Carrol Flo, 74, formerly of Bricelyn passed away Monday February 22, 2016 at the Truman Senior Living Center in Truman MN.Services are pending at this time.Carrol was born May 7, 1941 to Lawrence and Merrian (Gestie) Flo in rural Bricelyn. He grew up and attended school in Bricelyn, and eventually graduated from Elmore High School in 1959.Carrol attended Waldorf College until he was drafted into the United States Army.After his discharge in 1964, he worked a variety of jobs in the Minneapolis / St. Paul area.Due to health restrictions, Carrol had to retire early and resided at different health care centers around the area for many years.Carrol enjoyed watching old movies on television, singing and playing his trombone.He is survived by his children, Joseph (Brenda) Flo and Debra Flo; step-grandchildren, Spencer and Evan Sullivan; siblings, Susan (Dan) Wiltse of Blue Earth, Rebecca (Stephen) Leicher of Maple Grove; aunt, Signe Beaty of Bricelyn; with many nieces, nephews and cousins. Carrol was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Ronald Flo and step-father, Ross More.
