DANNY JAY AMUNDSON, age 54, of Frost, died Monday, August 1, 2016, at his home.A celebration of life will be held on Friday, August 5, 2016, at 5:00pm-8:00pm, at the Frost Community Center 325 Dewey Street in Frost. A private inurnment will be in Dell Lutheran Cemetery, Frost, at a later date. Web tributes may be left at www.pattonfh.comHe was born March 19, 1962, at Blue Earth, the son of Darwin "Pete" and Ramona "Moni" (Sunno) Amundson. He attended Frost High School thru his junior year and graduated from Blue Earth Area High School in 1980. After high school Dan worked for his parent''s farming and over the road trucking. Dan has enjoyed farming with his son Ryan for many years.In July of 1982 Dan was married to Diane Holmseth at South Blue Earth Church rural Bricelyn. The couple was blessed with 2 children a son Ryan and a daughter Laura. Dan enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Diane Amundson of Frost, son, Ryan (Kerri) Amundson and their girls Taylynn, Brynlee, and Rylan of Frost, daughter, Laura (Bryce) Hanson and their son McCoy of Glencoe, mother, Ramona "Moni" Amundson of Blue Earth, sister, Monene "Rennie" Amundson of Frost, brother, Jerry (Kasta) Amundson of Blue Earth, in-laws Brian (Dawn) Holmseth of Frost, Steve (Nancy) Holmseth of Frost, Sharon (Scott) Determan of Blue Earth, and Amy (Jason) Lowe of Bancroft, IA and many nieces, nephews, and very close friends.He was preceded in death by his father Darwin "Pete" Amundson, and father & mother-in-law Laurice & Nylene Holmseth, and other loved family members.In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to UHD Home Health and Hospice.
