GARRY LEE TWEDT, age 48, of Winnebago, died Saturday September 17, in a four-wheeling accident near Washburn, WI. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 21, 2016, at 2:00 PM at Bethany Lutheran Church in rural Frost, with Rev. Arne Halbakken officiating. Burial will be in Bethany Lutheran Cemetery rural Frost.Visitation time will be 4:00 - 8:00 PM, Tuesday September 20, 2016 at the Frost Community Center and one hour before the service at the church. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Garry''s name to the Winnebago Sportsman Club.Garry was born December 14, 1967 in Blue Earth, MN, the son of Marion and Janet Twedt. He grew up on the family farm in Frost, and was a graduate of Blue Earth Area High School. He attend college at the University of WI, River Falls. Garry was a successful Farm Bureau Insurance and Financial Advisor for 21 years. Garry loved his home on Bass Lake. He was a hunting and fishing enthusiast and took many vacations around the world. Garry truly loved to entertain and spend time with his family, friends and neighbors. Garry was a friend to everyone he met, both near and far.Garry is survived by sisters Mary (Duane) Evans of Blue Earth, Sarah (Steve) Wilson of Lakeville, brother, Larry (Barb) Twedt of Frost, nieces and nephews, Amy (Brian) Schonborn, Katy (Jason) Grovom, Jared (Laura) Evans, Sydney (fianc Rob Clatterbuck) Wilson, Hannah, Micah, Joshua & Mariah Twedt, great- nieces and nephews, Katlyn, Luke & Halle Schonborn, Blake, Brett, Bennett, Livy Grovom, aunt Nancy Caruth, of Blaine, MN, great-uncle Dale Thompson, of Wells, and very special second family, Mark, Valerie, Kelly, and Matt (Emily) Hooper.He was preceded in death by his parents, Marion and Janet Twedt, infant brother Paul, and many aunts and uncles.
