William L. Krissinger

A celebration of William''s life will take place on Saturday, January 10, 2015 at Patton Funeral Home, 400 East 14th Street, Blue Earth, MN, the Rev. Victor Vriesen officiating. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. with a Funeral Service at 10:00 followed by lunch and fellowship. William will be buried at Riverside Cemetery in Blue Earth. Expressions of sympathy are preferred in the form of donations to St. Luke''s Lutheran Care Center, American Alzheimers Association or charity of the donor''s choice.William "Bill" LeRoy Krissinger, died January 7, 2015 at St. Luke''s Lutheran Care Center, Blue Earth, MN where he lived for the past 12 years. William was born at Blue Earth Hospital on May 30, 1929 to LeRoy and Esther (Weyhrauch) Krissinger.William was raised and farmed much of his life in rural Faribault County. He was a member of Salem United Methodist Church in Blue Earth. In 1973 he moved with his family to town where he was self-employed mowing lawns and blowing snow for friends and neighbors. In 2002 William entered St. Luke''s Lutheran Care Center where he was the "unofficial greeter" at the Station 3 entrance and enjoyed joking and visiting with staff, residents and visitors.Survivors include a sister Ruth (Ken) Horlacher of Orangeburg, SC; a niece Jane (Don) Heser of Mantorville, MN; and a nephew Dale (Patty) Wilcox of Killingsworth, CT. His parents preceded him in death.Special thanks to Barb and Loren Prescher of Blue Earth, supportive family and friends, and all the staff at St. Luke''s Care Center for their excellent care throughout William''s life.
