Mary Theresa Reinke

MARY THERESA REINKE, age 79, of Albert Lea, formerly of rural Blue Earth, died Thursday, February 26, 2015, at St. Mary''s Hospital, Rochester. Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 2, 2015, at 11:00 AM, at St. John''s Lutheran Church in Elmore, with Rev. Joel Lintner officiating. Burial will be in St. John''s Lutheran Cemetery, Elmore. Visitation time will be from 5:00 to 8:00 PM Sunday, at Patton Funeral Home & Cremation Service Blue Earth and one hour prior to services at the church. She graduated from Winnebago High School in 1952 and was united in marriage to Wilfred Reinke on June 6, 1953 in Blue Earth. Mary was a homemaker and helped Wilfred on the family farm for many years. In her later years she enjoyed knitting, crocheting and reading- especially good romance novels. Mary''s greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.Mary is survived by her daughter, Pamela (Edward) Kolstad of Blue Earth, her grandchildren: Jeni (Amanda) Kolstad of Mankato, David Kolstad of Mankato & Eric Kolstad of Faribault, three great grandchildren: Siva Kolstad, Leif Hudson & Jasmine Kolstad, her sister, Bonnie Rose, her brothers: Alvin, Elmo, Cecil, Nick, Edward & Bill Martin and many nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Wilfred in 2001, a brother, Francis Martin, a sister, Helen Freeman and a step-brother, Mark Blowers.
