Sharon Olson

A Celebration of Life for Sharon Olson, 71, Goodyear, AZ, formerly of Blue Earth, MN will be held on Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Blue Earth. Sharon passed away on Friday, July 3, 2015 at her home in Goodyear, surrounded by her family. Arrangements have been entrusted to Patton Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Blue Earth. Online condolences may be left at www.pattonfh.com Sharon Gesche was born on May 9, 1944 in Buffalo Center, IA, the daughter of Freeman and Geraldine (Thompson) Gesche. She graduated from Elmore High School in 1962. Sharon attended Mankato State University and graduated with a Master''s Degree in Education. In 1965 she was united in marriage to Orin Olson and they moved to Blue Earth in 1974. While in Blue Earth, she founded Olson Realty. Sharon and OJ moved to Goodyear, AZ in 1999 where Sharon continued in real estate and returned to the teaching profession. Sharon enjoyed photography, theatre, music, collecting antiques, playing blackjack and entertaining friends and family.Sharon is survived by her husband, Orin of Goodyear, AZ; son, Todd and Mara Olson of Blue Earth; daughter, Tara Crubaugh of Goodyear, AZ; two granddaughters, Samantha Hogstad of Fargo, ND and Tess Crubaugh of Goodyear, AZ. She was preceded in death by her parents.Memorial contributions may be given to the American Kidney Association.
