Donna Marie Erickson

Donna Marie Erickson, age 74, of Blue Earth, died Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at St. Luke''s Lutheran Care Center. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at Patton Funeral Home in Blue Earth, with burial to follow in Riverside Cemetery in Blue Earth. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at Patton Funeral Home.Donna Marie (Weber) Erickson was born November 29, 1939 in Blue Earth, the daughter of Alvin and Nellie (LaMont) Weber. She graduated from Blue Earth High School in 1959 and was soon married to Paul Eugene Erickson on February 5, 1960 in Blue Earth. She lived in Washington and Illinois before returning to Minnesota in 1977. While living in Illinois, Donna had worked at a toy factory. She also worked at St. Luke''s Lutheran Care Center and Central Graphics in Blue Earth. She enjoyed reading, jigsaw puzzles, country music, trivia games, collecting music boxes, dogs and cats.Donna is survived by sister, Nancy Forthun of Winthrop, MN, sister, Susan (David) Schuster of Minnesota Lake, MN, special friend Nelda Turner of Blue Earth, friend Kay Kirkham of North Aurora, Illinois, sister-in-law, Shirley Weber of Northern Minnesota, several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and an uncle.Donna was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Paul, in 1977, her brother, Lyle Weber, a brother-in-law, several aunts, uncles and a great nephew.
