Beverly Nave

Beverly J. Nave, age 82, of Woodbury, formerly of Blue Earth, died Thursday, August 21, 2014, at Prelude Memory Care Cottages, Woodbury. Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 25, 2014, at 11:00 AM, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Blue Earth, with Rev. Dr. Mark Wilms officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Blue Earth. Visitation time will be from 4:00 to 6:00 PM Sunday, at Patton Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 400 E. 14th Street in Blue Earth and one hour prior to services at the church. She was raised in Blue Earth where she graduated from Blue Earth High School in 1949. She was soon married to Darrel L. Nave on August 16, 1950 in Canton, South Dakota. The couple resided in Blue Earth where Darrel operated the rendering plant and owned the Blue Earth Modern Launders & Cleaners. Beverly was a homemaker and was the bookkeeper at the cleaning business for many years. While raising her children she enjoyed golfing at Riverside Town and Country Club, hosting her weekly bridge club, crocheting, knitting, cross stitching and ceramics. Beverly was an avid MN Vikings and Twins fan, attending many games. She enjoyed wintering with her husband at The Vines in Ft. Meyers, Florida for ten years. Beverly is survived by her son, Doug (Karen) Nave of Elmore, her daughter, Judy (Alan) Willette of Mahtomedi, her brothers: Donald (Marian) Kark of Ft. Meyers, Florida, Robert (Susan) Kark of Denver, Colorado, Emil "Buddy" (LaVonne) Kark of Chatfield, MN and 5 grandchildren & 4 great grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents, husband-Darrell in 2005, brother, Arthur (Shirley) Kark and sister, Lorene (DeVere) Clark.
