Nancy Enis

NANCY JEAN ENIS, age 69, of Fairmont, died Monday, December 15, 2014, at Gold Finch Memory Care in Fairmont. Memorial services will be held at a later date in Blue Earth. Burial will be in Lynd City Cemetery, Lynd, MN. Patton Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Blue Earth is assisting the family with the arrangements. Web tributes may be left at www.pattonfh.comNancy was born February 8, 1945 in Marshall, MN the daughter of Edward and Florence (Kaiser) VanDevere. She was raised and educated in Marshall where she attended Marshall High School. She had worked at food processing plants in the area for several years. She was married to Jerome M. Vogt on September 6, 1963 in Russell, MN. The couple late divorced and Nancy was married to Charlie Enis in 1976 in Coeurd''Alene, Idaho. Charlie died in the early 1990''s and Nancy moved to the Fairmont area where she worked at Custom Foods in Blue Earth. She later became a nurse''s aide and worked at Lakeview Methodist Nursing Home for several years. I her early years Nancy enjoyed baking and also liked working as a bartender later in life. She always enjoyed fishing and catching catfish.She is survived by her son Bradley Vogt of Portland, OR, daughter, Beth Vogt of Granada, her brothers, Larry VanDevere of Lake Benton & Michael VanDevere of Tyler, her sisters, Patricia Cross of Portland, OR & Joanne Strum of Mineota, six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, second husband, Charlie Enis and an infant daughter, Shawn Marie Vogt.
