Ankeny, age 91, of Winnebago, formerly of Blue Earth died Saturday, April 6, 2013, at Parker Oaks.Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 11, 2013, at 11:00 AM, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Blue Earth, with Rev. Dr. Mark Wilms officiating. Burial will be in United Lutheran Cemetery, Frost. Visitation time will be from 9:00am until service time at the church in Blue Earth. Web tributes may be left at www.pattonfh.comHe was born May 17, 1921, at Faribault County, MN, the son of William and Marie (Oesterheld) Ankeny.He is survived by his wife, Betty Ankeny of Winnebago, his daughter, Sandra (John) Deniz of Arroyo Grande, CA, his step-daughter, Patricia (Mark) Skoog of Mankato, his step daughters, Alice (Rory) Telander of Laramie, WY, Cheri (Rich) Martin of Moorhead, MN, Koni (Norm) Preston, of Mapleton, MN, his step sons, Ken Kuhn of Stewartville, MN, John (Mary Jo) Kuhn of Blue Earth, 20 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his 1st wife Audrey Myers, parents, brothers Scott, Robert, John, Charles Ankeny, sisters Lois Demske, Charlotte Dunn, infant sister Marie, and step-son Doug Kuhn.A memorail has been established in Buss''s name.
