MARK ALLEN WORK, age 50, of Elmore, died Monday, May 27, 2013, at United Hospital. Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 3, 2013, at 11:00 AM, at Elmore United Methodist Church in Elmore, with Rev. Arthur Keith officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Blue Earth. Mark was full of fun and always loved to joke with anyone and known for his practical jokes. Mark loved to fish, hunt, and was also a huge fan of demolition derbies! He also enjoyed his dachshunds and spending time with family and friends! He was born December 22, 1962, at Blue Earth, MN, the son of Harold & Judy (Sabin) Work. Mark attended Blue Earth Area High School graduating class of 1981. He also attended Albert Lea Vo-Tech and Presentation College. He is survived by his sister, Julie (Darrin) Bishop of Elmore, his sister Sue Ann Marie (Work)-Gonzalez-Wood of Winnebago, his nephew, Jacob Koestler of Winnebago, his nephew, David Gonzalez of Elmore, his nephew, John Koestler of Guckeen, his niece, Maria Gonzalez of Blue Earth, his niece, Mandi (Eric) Erdman of Winnebago. He was also survived by 2 great nephews, 3 great nieces, many extended family, friends, and 2 very special friends that he cared for (H&M)! He was preceded in death by his parents, and sister Lisa (Work) Koestler.
