Orletha Stewart, age 95, of Blue Earth, died Sunday, March 4, 2012, at St. Luke''s Lutheran Care Center, Blue Earth. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 8, 2012, at 11:00 AM, at Patton Funeral Home in Blue Earth, with services conducted by Orletha''s family and Rev. Karl Rydholm. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Blue Earth. Visitation time will be one hour prior to services, at Patton Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 400 E. 14th Street in Blue Earth. She was raised and educated in the Easton and Delavan areas. She was married to Lyle Stewart on September 8, 1937. Orletha was a homemaker and had worked at Koehler Drug Store and Doolittle''s Decorating. She was a longtime member of First United Methodist Church in Blue Earth where she was active in various church circles. She enjoyed garden clubs and being part of the Horticultural Society. She was a volunteer with the American Cancer Society with several other local organizations. She enjoyed baking homemade bread and always loved a good bowl of popcorn.Orletha is survived by her daughter, Kathleen (Loren) Benz of Blue Earth, her son, Ken (June) Stewart of Roseville, her daughter, Karen (Jerry) Myhre of Geneseo, Illlinois, her brother in law, Romaine Babcock of Blue Earth, her grandchildren: Lisa Benz (& husband Mike Roy), Clinton (Susan) Benz, Derick Benz, Gretchen (Dan) Weber, Erika Myhre, Bjorn (Leigh Ann) Myhre & Sean Stewart and great-grandchildren: Lacey Benz, Marissa Benz and Madeline Weber.She was preceded in death by her parents, husband-Lyle in 1962, brother-Wayne Weber and sisters: Anetta Ziegler, Fern Babcock & Jean Weber.
