Ruthie Edgington

Ruthie Edgington, age 63, of Blue Earth, formerly of Richmond, California, died Monday, April 23, 2012, at the home of her son in Blue Earth. Graveside services will be held in Vallejo, California at a later date. Patton Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 400 E. 14th Street in Blue Earth is assisting the family with the arrangements. She was raised and educated in the Richmond, California area where she attended schools. She was married to Ivan Lee Edgington in 1964 in Reno, Nevada. She lived all her adult life in California where she was later married to James N. Williams and they remained together for 45 years. She was a member of the Little Creek Indian Tribe. She was a homemaker and taught kids at PACE. She enjoyed writing poems and was a great mother, wife & grandmother who was a giving person and loved by everyone. Ruthie came to Blue Earth in September 2011 to be near her family.Ruthie is survived by her husband, James Williams of Blue Earth, son, Kevin (Shantille) Edgington of Blue Earth, daughter, Kimberly Edgington of Blue Earth, daughter, Kathy Williams of Blue Earth, step-daughter, Wendy Williams of California, sister-Kendra Walker of Clear Lake, CA, brother, James Walker of Clear Lake, CA, brother, Daniel Rickle of San Bernardino, CA, her sisters: Karen Gordon of Vallejo, CA, Sharon Rickle of North Carolina, Linda Walker of Chico, CA, Mary Walker of Nice, CA, Lorna Rickle of Arkansas, seven grandchildren one great-grandchild.She was preceded in death by her parents, step-mother, Arleta Walker, sister, Becky Rickle, brother, Gary Walker and granddaughter, Krystal Siglar.
