Mildred Kienitz, age 91, of Blue Earth, died Friday, January 14, 2011, at United Hospital, Blue Earth.Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 18, 2011, at 10:00 AM, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Blue Earth, with Rev. Dale Kohrs, officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Blue Earth. Visitation time will be from 5:00 to 7:00 PM Monday, at Patton Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 400 E. 14th Street, in Blue Earth, and one hour prior to services at the church. Web tributes may be left at www.pattonfh.comMildred was born December 31, 1919, in Blue Earth, the daughter of Otto and Lena (Kammin) Ehrich. She was raised in Elmore Township where she attended District 80 country school and St. John''s School. She was married to Keith E. Hull on September 26, 1947 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Blue Earth. The couple resided in Guckeen. Keith died in 1953 and Mildred later moved to Blue Earth in 1970. She was married to Rudolph "Rudy" Kienitz on April 1, 1978 and she moved to his farm NE of Blue Earth. Mildred moved back to Blue Earth following Rudy''s death in 1998 where she was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Lutheran Missionary League and the VFW Auxiliary. She worked as a cook at the Huntley Schools and as a nurses'' aide at St. Luke''s Lutheran Care Center for more than 10 years. She enjoyed playing cards, knitting, crocheting and baking, especially Aunt Sally Cookies.Mildred is survived by her son, Earl (Marcia) Hull of Minnesota Lake, her daughter, Janet (Gene) Zabel of Blue Earth, her 4 grandchildren: Chris (Amy) Hull, Jenn (Nick) Banks, Jay (Mandy) Zabel, & Brett Zabel, and 5 great grandchildren: Aaron Hull, Bryce & Brandon Banks, Jared & Annie Zabel.She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, a brother, Lawrence (& wife Eleanor) Ehrich, a sister, Elnora (& husband Ralph) Mensing and a great grandson, Zachary Hull.
