Marian B. Eichhorn, age 89, of Elmore, died Tuesday, January 25, 2011 at ST. Luke''s Lutheran Care Center, Blue Earth. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 29, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Trinity Lutheran Church in Elmore, with burial to follow in Riverview Cemetery, Elmore. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until service time at the church on Saturday. Patton Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Blue Earth is assisting the family with the arrangements. Web tributes may be left at www.pattonfh.comMarian was born December 4, 1921 on the family farm in Elmore, Mn. She was the daughter of Ted and Frieda (Boettcher) Zeigler. She was raised and educated in Elmore where she was baptized January 1, 1922 and confirmed April 14, 1935. She was a 1940 graduate of Elmore High School and has been a longstanding member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Elmore. Marian married Donald Eichhorn September 1, 1942. The couple enjoyed their children, grandchildren and traveling to Florida in the winter. She enjoyed her friends and relatives in the Elmore farming community where she was well known for her generous heart and kind spirit. She will be missed by her son, Gary (& wife Gloria) Eichhorn of Elmore, daughter, Rosemary Dahl of Northfield, daughter, Gloria (& Dale) Luckow of Evergreen, Colorado, sister, Maxine (Ronald) Lawrence of Blue Earth, 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents, husband-Donald in 2004 and son-in-law, Dick Dahl.
