Viola Helen Paulson, age 92, of Blue Earth died February 23, 2011 at St. Luke(TM)s Lutheran Care Center, Blue Earth. Memorial Service will be held Saturday, February 26 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Paul(TM)s Lutheran Church L.C.M.S. in Blue Earth, with Pastor Wes Hafner officiating. Visitation is 1 hour prior to service at the church. Patton Funeral Home and Cremation is assisting the family with the services. She grew up on the family farm with 3 sisters and 6 brothers. After attending school she moved to Minnesota to work where she met and married Melvin Paulson in Blue Earth on July 19, 1941. They raised 3 children Gary, Judy and Glenda. Viola was a loving wife and homemaker. She loved gardening, fishing, music and the many family gatherings through the years.She is survived by her children Gary (Lee Ann) Paulson of Waseca, Judy (Don) Olson of Grand Marais, Glenda (Doug) Pooley of Roseville, brothers: Wilbur Malwitz of Rochester, Leonard Malwitz of Blue Earth & Arlo Malwitz of California, grandchildren: Jody Paulson, Jess (Barb) Paulson and Cara (Alex) Kolmer and 4 great grandchildren Tyler, Mareena, Amalia and Lily.Viola was preceeded in death by her husband Melvin, 3 sisters and 4 brothers.
