Services for Irene F. Pudwell, age 86, of Blue Earth will be 1:00p.m. Monday, June 13, 2011 at St. Lukes Lutheran Care Center in Blue Earth. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery at Blue Earth. Irene Pudwell died Thursday , June 9, 2011 at St. Lukes Lutheran Care Center. Visitation will be from 12-1:00p.m. Monday at St. Lukes Lutheran Care Center. Web tributes may be left at www.pattonfh.com Irene was born April 28, 1925 at McIntosh, South Dakota the daughter of Joseph & Bertha(Feil)Pudwell. She worked for the government in Blue Earth before moving to Rochester. For 37 years she worked in the clerical department at Mayo Clinic. She returned to Blue Earth and entered St. Lukes in Oct. of 2010. Irene was involved in the clinic and church choirs and enjoyed traveling to many countries. Irene was baptized & was a member of First Baptist Church. Survivors include:Sister, Ann Cassens of Blue Earth, Nieces:Arlene(Raymond)Peterson of Cross Lake, Shirley(Don)Teems of Blue Earth, Connie Weise Fratzke & Carl K. of Hutchinson, Sue Cassens of Blue Earth, several great nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother in law, Onnen Cassens, nephew, Larry Cassens, great nephews, Tim Weise & Mike Teems.
