MILDRED KRAMERSMEIER, age 95, of Ledyard, Iowa, died Wednesday, July 27, 2011, at Golden Living Center, Rochester. Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 1, 2011, at 10:30 AM, at Bethany Evangelical & Reformed Church in Ledyard, Iowa with Rev. Vic Vriesen, officiating. Burial will be in Highland Home Cemetery, Ledyard, Iowa. Visitation time will be Sunday, 5:00 7:00 PM atBethany E & R Church in Ledyard. She was raised and educated in Ledyard where she was a 1935 graduate of Ledyard High School. She was married to Arthur A. Kramersmeier on February 17, 1937 in Fairmont, MN. The couple farmed the Kramersmeier family farm West of Ledyard for several years before moving to a farm SE of Ledyard. They farmed for many years until retiring to Ledyard in 1979. Mildred was a longtime member of the Bethany E & R Church in Ledyard where she was active in the Unity Circle making many wonderful quilts for the church. She enjoyed quilting and sewing and grew many nice vegetable gardens through the years.Mildred is survived by her daughter, DeEtta (Richard) Klatt of Blue Earth, daughter, Donna (Wayne) Lawrence of Blue Earth, grandchildren: Don (Cindra) Klatt, Randal (Karen) Klatt, Renae (Kevin) Buchan, Rhonda (Eric) Payne, Jason (Carla) Lawrence, 12 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents, husband-Arthur, and a grandson- Delmar Lawrence
