Raymond Geerdes 90 of Blue Earth passed away Sunday, October 23, 2011 at United Hospital in Blue Earth.He was born March 5, 1921 in Lakota, IA to George and Mina Geerdes.A private family Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00am Thursday, October 27, 2011 at Patton Funeral Home, with Fr. Jim VonTobel as Celebrant. Visitation will be 1 hour before the service at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Blue Earth.He is survived by his wife Juanita of Blue Earth, children Ronald (Susan) Geerdes of Magna, UT, Donna (Larry) Farrell of Shakopee, MN, Steven Geerdes of Blue Earth, 6 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, sister Viola Hove of Blue Earth, brother Alvin Geerdes of St. Paul, several nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death his parents, sister Leona Everett, brothers, Elmer, Henry, and Marvin
