Roxanne J. Potter (Tibbetts), age 54, of Buffalo, MN, formerly of Blue Earth, died Wednesday, October 26th at Good Shepherd Lutheran Home in Sauk Rapids, MN after a short battle with cancer. Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM Thursday, November 3, 2011 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Blue Earth, with Rev. Dr. Mark Wilms officiating.Roxanne was born November 4, 1956 at St. Johns Hospital in Huron, SD. She is the daughter of LaVerne and Twila Tibbetts. She graduated from Blue Earth High School in 1975. Roxanne was married on August 30, 1975 to Mark Potter, later divorced. This union was blessed with two daughters, Michelle Marie and Amanda Jo. Roxanne worked at Telex in Blue Earth for 23 years. She relocated to Buffalo, MN to be near her grandchildren where she worked as a cashier at Wal-Mart until her diagnosis on June 20, 2011.She is survived by her children, Michelle Potter, of Newton, NC and Amanda (Andrew) Rick of Clearwater, MN; grandchildren Joseph Potter, Kylee Rick and Isabella Rick; Parents, LaVerne and Twila Tibbetts of Blue Earth; Siblings Jerry Tibbetts of San Diego, CA, Linda Bromeland of Blue Earth, Peggy (Perry) Olson of Blue Earth and many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews, and aunts and uncles.She was preceded in death by her grandparents Donald and Ruth Tibbetts and Lawrence and Ruth Farmer, Aunts Margie Tibbetts and Bonnie Lindemann; Uncles Don Tibbetts and Craig Tibbetts and cousin Laurie Dubro.Online condolences can be made at www.pattonfh.com
