Marianna Eiselt

Marianna was born April 2, 1928, in Winnebago, the daughter of H.O. and Charlotte (Huber) Nichols. She was raised and educated in Winnebago where she graduated from high school as valedictorian of her class in 1946. She attended and graduated from the Minnesota School of Business and was later married to Wayne M. Eiselt, in Winnebago, on September 24, 1950. Marianna was a long-time employee of the 1st National Bank in Blue Earth, retiring in 2003 after 52 years of service. She was a 50-year member of the Minnesota Bankers Association. Marianna served as Treasurer of the Blue Earth Concert Association since its formation, as Treasurer of the United Hospital Auxiliary, as a past member of the Assisi Residence Board and as a volunteer at United Hospital. She was a long-time member of Trinity Lutheran Church, served as Treasurer for 9 years, served on Trinitys Endowment Committee, taught Sunday School and was a member of the Ladies Aid and the Rebecca Circle. She was also a member of Riverside Country Club. Marianna is survived by her husband, Wayne Eiselt of Blue Earth, her son Robert (Debra) Eiselt of Stillwater, her daughter, Mary (Jeffrey) Owen of Rochester, her son, Thomas (Julie) Eiselt of Charlotte, North Carolina, nine grandchildren: John (Jill) Eiselt, Scott (Jessica) Eiselt, Jennifer (fianc Mike Fischer) Eiselt, Kristine (fianc Andy Katona) Owen, Michael Owen, Rebecca Owen, Jack Eiselt, Joseph Eiselt, Katharine Eiselt and two great grandchildren: Logan Eiselt and Bennett Eiselt. Marianna is also survived by her brother, Daniel (JoAnn) Nichols, sister, Katharine Anderson, and brother, David (Ann) Nichols and many nieces and nephews.. She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.
