Theone Runge

Theone was born January 13, 1919, at Bricelyn, Mn, the daughter of Julius and JoHanna (Silrum) Hove. She was raised and educated in the Bricelyn area where she was married to Harvey W. Runge on November 15, 1940. The couple farmed in Easton and later in Delavan for many years. Theone loved to raise flower and vegetable gardens and was an excellent baker, being know for her Lefsa and Kringla. She was a longtime member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Emerald Township and became a member of Trinity Lutheran Church when she moved to town in 1981. Theone was a beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother and will be greatly missed. She is survived by her daughter, Carol (Marvin) Boettcher of Elmore, her son, Ronald Runge of Elmore, her daughter, Linda Rohlfs of Blue Earth, her son, Mark (Marlys) Runge of Lakefield, her daughter, Jane Stevemer of Blue Earth, sisters-in-law, Viola Hove of Blue Earth and Doris Mau of Mankato. Also surviving are 17 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband in 1998, an infant son, John, a brother, James Hove, 4 sisters: Florence Veriede, Orva Aamodt, Evelyn Oakland & Irene Jensvold, and two nephews, Bradford Aamodt & Barry Veriede.
