Lyle Quade

Lyle was born on August 9, 1927 in Barber Township, the son of LaRue and Eileen (Franke) Quade. He attended Blue Earth High School. On May 10, 1952, he married Gloria Ann Martin of rural Blue Earth.Lyle was a passionatefarmer throughout his lifein Barber, Rome and Emeraldtownships.In addition , he worked 30 yearsas a meat cutter for Wilson & Company in Albert Lea.His retirement involvedpart time work pumping gas and working at the Wayside Rest Area, as he so enjoyed talking with people. Lyle loved travel, the company of friends, attending fairs, auctions, and enjoying nature.Later in life he enjoyed gardening and working with his wife on his hobby farm, the animals he took care of, and in the summers, most of all, working on bigger and bigger gardens. Lyle was a devoted husband and father, and an inspiration to those who knew him.Lyle is survived by his wife, Gloria Quade of Blue Earth; daughter, Loria Joy Quade (Lee) Rebuffoni of Minneapolis; and brother, Alton Quade of Albert Lea. Lyle was preceded in death by his parents.
