Dolores M. Trasamar

Dolores was born November 4, 1927, in Lakota, Iowa, the daughter of John and Gertie (Helmers) Roelfsema. She was raised and educated in Lakota, Iowa where she graduated from Lakota High School in 1945. She was married to Milton V. Trasamar on June 15, 1947 in Lakota. The couple farmed near Elmore for many years where Dolores was a homemaker. She was a nearly lifetime member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Elmore. She enjoyed golfing, dancing, was a faithful Minnesota Vikings Fan and also enjoyed her Saturday nights out with family and friends. Dolores is survived by her son, Lonnie (Cindy) Trasamar of Blue Earth, her daughter, Phyllis (Dick) Birk of Madison, South Dakota, her sister, Mabel (Donald) Kollasch of Shakopee, four grandchildren: Jon & Ryan Trasamar and Jeffrey & Thomas Birk, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Milton in 1997, a sister, Viola Kollasch and brother, Ivan Roelfsema.
