James Williams

James was born on July 22, 1928, at St. James, Minnesota, the son of James Sr. and Lena (Klutz) Williams. James was raised and educated in St. James. James served in the United States Army from 1951 to 1953. During this time he married Mary Lou Calkins on May 4, 1952 the two were later divorced in 1976. James worked at Stokley Canning in Fairmont and at Thermotech in Hopkins. James moved to Blue Earth in 2005. He was a member of the American Legion for 56 years. He enjoyed gardening, animals and biking. Memorials may be made out to Faribault County Humane Society.James Williams is survived by his son, Jonathan (Rita) Williams of Fort Collins, Colorado; daughter, Cindy (Rick) Libby of Blue Earth; Barb Cooper of St. Louis Park; 3 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, brother, Harold Mick Williams of Wayzata; sisters, Dorothy Firchau of Madelia; Marilyn Fast of Butterfield; Millie Borgens of Hill City.James was preceded in death by his parents, former wife, daughter, Kay Ebeling, 4 brothers and 4 sisters.
